Refund & Cancellation Policy

By purchasing a class package, special class, course, workshop, or retreat with BKS Iyengar Yogashala, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.

BKS Iyengar Yogashala strives to provide a fair and transparent process for cancellations and refunds.
The following policies apply based on the type of program you are enrolled in:

REGULAR CLASSES & PACKAGES

  • All class packages are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • No credits or extensions will be issued for missed classes unless under dire circumstances.

SPECIAL CLASSES

(Single-session events outside regular class schedules, e.g., guest teacher classes, masterclasses)

  • Full payment is required at registration.

  • Cancellation requests must be made at least 7 days before the class date; refunds will only be issued if the space is resold, less a 10% administration fee.

  • No refunds or credits for cancellations within 7 days or for no-shows.

COURSES

(Multi-session structured programs like progressive series or teacher trainings)

  • Full payment is required at registration.

  • Cancellation requests must be made at least 14 days before the course start date; refunds will only be issued if the space is resold, less a 10% administration fee.

  • No refunds or credits once the course has started.

WORKSHOPS

  • Full payment is required at registration.

  • Cancellations must be made at least 7 days before the workshop date; refunds will only be issued if the space is resold, less a 10% administration fee.

  • No refunds for cancellations within 7 days or for no-shows.

  • A full refund will be issued if BKS Iyengar Yoga cancels the workshop.

RETREATS

  • Full payment is required at registration.

  • Cancellations must be made at least 30 days before the retreat start date; refunds will only be issued if the space is resold, less a 10% administration fee.

  • No refunds for cancellations within 30 days or for no-shows.

  • A full refund will be issued if BKS Iyengar Yoga cancels the retreat.

IMPORTANT NOTE

Specific workshops, courses, or retreats may carry unique cancellation and refund policies, which will be clearly stated in each program’s registration information or promotional material. In such cases, those specific terms will supersede the general policies outlined above.
