Please be informed that RISHI MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATES SDN BHD is the registered business entity for BKS IYENGAR YOGASHALA.

STANDARD CLASS PACKAGE & WORKSHOP

PAYMENT MODE

We accept cash, Credit Cards, Debit Cards and online remittance. Payment is always due at the time service is rendered.

 

All payments made are to be directed to RISHI MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATES SDN BHD, which is the registered business entity for BKS Iyengar Yogashala.

 

 PACKAGE START AND EXPIRATION DATE

Package validity starts from the date of purchase  

i) 10-class & 20-class expires in 3-month.

ii) 50-Class expires in 6-month

iii) 100-Class expires in 12-month 

DEFINITION OF MEMBER

A new member is required to complete the Student Registration Form and pay a onetime amounting RM50.00 (Ringgit Malaysia : fifty only). A member card will be given upon payment. 

You are a member ONLY during the period of your active package, which applies to ONLY packages from 10-class and above.

 

Once your package expires, you will become an Alumni if you do not purchase a new package immediately.

 

You are NOT a member if you attend Drop-In class.

 

DEFINITION OF STANDARD CLASS PACKAGE

Class Package with 10-Classes and above being offered to all level of Students are considered Standard Class Package

 

REFUNDS AND TRANSFERS OF CLASS PASS

All class passes are non-refundable and non-transferable. No refunds will be given for any classes utilized or partially utilized.

 

 EXTENSION OF CLASS PASS

We do not offer an extension of class passes unless the circumstances are dire.  Class passes may not be extended to accommodate business travel or vacation dates. 

 

 UPGRADE OR DOWNGRADES OF MEMBERSHIP

Upgrades or downgrades membership only allowed within 07 days from the date of billing.

 

WORKSHOPS

Advance payment is required in full at the time of registration to reserve your space.

Workshop registrations can be made online and only confirmed once payment is remitted.

Any participant who wishes to cancel their registration must notify us at least 14 days prior to the workshop.  We do not issue refunds for workshop cancellations unless space is fully sold out.  In case of a refund, a 10% administration will be deducted from the total refund.

CLASSES / WORKSHOPS / RETREATS CANCELLATIONS

BKS Iyengar Yogashala reserves the right to cancel or change the date of a class, workshop or retreat at any time. We will do our very best to notify all students by WhatsApp, Email, Website, Social Media postings, and by verbal announcements as soon as we have made the decision.

BKS Iyengar Yogashala reserves the right to cancel any class with low attendance.

BKS Iyengar Yogashala reserves the right to substitute an instructor without prior notice.

BKS Iyengar Yogashala will issue a full refund if a workshop is being cancelled.

This Package price is inclusive of 8% Sales & Service Tax (SST).

Class level eligibility for each member is based on personal experience of practice and body condition.

 

Preliminary Students is allowed to upgrade to Level 1 with the teacher’s approval after practicing Iyengar Yoga.

This package is an individual package which is non-transferable, non-extendable and non-refundable.

 

There is no converting or upgrading the packages.

COURSES

  1. The course registrations is to be confirmed once payment is remitted.
  2. It is non-refundable, non-transferable & non-extendable.
  3. No upgrading to other promotion or class package.
  4. No Drop-Ins.
  5. If the intake of students is at maximum, the later student will be put on waitlist for the next intake.
  6. If someone cancels their registration, the next student on the waitlist will be given the opportunity to join the class.
  7. Students are discouraged from missing any session throughout the course as there is no class replacement.

INTRODUCTORY COURSE

This Introductory Course is open to new and current students.

New members must complete the Student Registration Form. For those joining this Introductory Course, the one-time membership fees amounting to RM50.00 (Ringgit Malaysia: fifty only) will be waived. A member card will be given upon course payment.

Bring a buddy : RM495 per pax

Group of 4       : RM440 per pax

No class replacement if you miss the class.

PROMOTION PACKAGES

 

  1. Promotion classes are for individuals and cannot be shared unless the term of the promotion is being laid out.
  2. Promotion classes are non-transferable, non-extendable and non-refundable.
  3. Registered students are only allowed to commence classes once full payment is received.
  4. If the student has any current class package or promotion package, the new promotion purchase can be activated after the ongoing package ends.
  5. There will not be an additional extension if the student has any current class package or promotion package.

FAMILY & FRIENDS PACKAGE

  1. Package price is RM1980 included 8% Sales & Service Tax (SST)*.
  2. This package is a one (1) time offer for a minimum of two (2) and maximum of four (4) per group per registration.
  3. The registered members, either friends or family members have to share the 100 classes together in a single package.
  4. This package can be used on the Preliminary, General, Level 1, and Gentle Class ONLY.
  5. Introducing new member(s) into this package is allowed after the package has commenced provided that the package is not shared with more than four (4) members. 
  6. Class level eligibility for each member is based on personal experience of practice and body condition.
  7. Members are ONLY allowed to join Restorative class with minimum attendance of 10 classes of Preliminary or General Classes.
  8. Preliminary Level Students are allowed to upgrade to Level 1 with teacher’s approval.
  9. Exchanging of registered member with new member is not allowed after the registration.
  10. Registered members are only allowed to commence classes once full payment is received.
  11. The package validity is for a FIXED TERM- six (6) months from the date of commencement. Class extensions and package refund are not allowed. 
  12. New members are required to complete the Student Registration Form.
  13. New members are required to pay a one (1) time payment of member card at RM50.
  14. Kindly refer to our Students Class Policy, Terms & Conditions for detailed information on payments, class cancellations, and member’s rewards.
  15. Members are entitled for TWO (2) FREE CLASSES as their Birthday Reward. Members are required to redeem the reward in their birthday month and use the Birthday Classes immediately after the existing promotion package expired. 
  16. Current members are entitled their Referral Reward once the referee sign up for each package 
    • Standard Package which is 10-classes and above.
    • 10% discount for a referrer at standard package if the referred student buys standard package only.  Or else
    • RM50 for a referrer at standard package if the referred student buys standard package only which can utilize when buy the next package or to buy our yoga props at Salamba Sdn Bhd.
  17. Members are allowed to participate in this Sharing Package together with other Standard Package or Promotion Package. 
  18. This Sharing Package will commence once either of the member(s) in the first registration has started to use the package on the particular date.
  19. Add-on member is compulsory to follow the existing package start date & expiry date.

VIRTUAL CLASS (VC)

To attend Virtual Classes (VC), students must reserve each session thru Zen Planner at https://bksiyogashala-my.sites.zenplanner.com/  

 

CANCELLATION after reservation should be done four (1) hour before class start time otherwise will result in the loss of 1 class. Cancellation can be done

 

From the start time of the session, 20 minutes in the session is considered as attended.

 

The actual name as per IC is to be registered in Zen Planner and while signing into Zoom. All registration details must be maintained after registration.

 

The video should be ON throughout the session.

 

BKS Iyengar Yogashala reserves the right to cancel the 30 minutes before class start time if there are no students reserved for the class.

 

BKS Iyengar Yogashala reserves the right to cancel any session or substitute an instructor when there are any unforeseen circumstances.

MEMBER REWARDS

BIRTHDAY REWARDS

Exclusive for BKS Iyengar Yogashala (BKSIYS) members only.

It is the members’ responsibility to ensure their date-of-birth on BKSIYS Zen Planner member profile is accurate. Members can check their profile information by logging in at  https://bksiyogashala-my.sites.zenplanner.com/login.cfm

 

The date-of-birth recorded in Zen Planner must be verified with original Identification Card (NRIC) by BKSIYS Front Desk Personnel to redeem the Birthday Rewards in a form of e-voucher thru Whatsapp.

The Birthday Rewards given entitles members to TWO (2) FREE yoga classes in a single redemption.

The Birthday Rewards is redeemable only during the month of your actual birthday. For example, if the member’s birthday falls on March 15th, the Birthday Rewards redemption is valid from 1-31 March only.

There will be no extension of any active package; Class Package or Promotion Package while utilizing this Birthday Rewards.

Alumni may enjoy the Birthday Rewards when they purchase a minimum of 10-Class Standard Class Package during the month of their birthday.

The Birthday Rewards is valid for one (1) month from the issuance date.

BKSIYS is not responsible if members / non-members are unable to claim their Birthday Rewards during the valid period and no compensation will be given.

Birthday Rewards is not exchangeable for cash.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Yoga Class

  • Class Packages are non-transferable and non-refundable.
  • BKS Iyengar Yogashala reserves the right to cancel or change the date of a class at any time. We will do our very best to notify all students by WhatsApp, Email, Website, Social Media postings, and by verbal announcements as soon as we have made the decision.
  • BKS Iyengar Yogashala reserves the right to cancel any class with low attendance.
  • BKS Iyengar Yogashala reserves the right to substitute an instructor without prior notice.

Course or Workshop

  • Fee paid strictly not refundable unless you are sick/injured/pregnant and can provide official documentation from a Medical Doctor. An emailed request for a refund must be received at least seven (7) days prior to date of workshop, minus a 10% processing fee.   
  • BKS Iyengar Yogashala accepts no responsibility for cancellation, delays, changes, or losses caused by acts of God, war, and a threat of war, closure of airports, civil strife, natural disasters, accidents, or any other events beyond our control. This includes injuries, illnesses, medical or psychiatric conditions of trainees developed during or after the course, and loss of, or damage to, personal property during the training. Please ensure you take out relevant insurance to protect yourself against this.
  • In the unlikely event that a Yoga Teacher Training, workshop, or retreat is cancelled by BKS Iyengar Yogashala, then 100% of the payment will be refunded, or an alternative retreat or training placement will be offered according to the circumstances. This does not include the cancellation of the training due to external circumstances such as conflicts between countries, pandemics, bans on travel by a specific country etc.
  • If a training or workshop must be abandoned or interrupted due to exceptional circumstances, there will not be a refund if more than half of the training has been completed (start and finish dates inclusive).
  • There is no refund if the student decides to leave the course or workshop training for any reason. 
  • BKS Iyengar Yogashala reserves the right to cancel a workshop for any reason. Whilst we would only do this in exceptional circumstances that means we are unable to offer the workshop as advertised, or if there are insufficient numbers booked onto the workshop to make it viable for the teacher taking the workshop. Should this happen, we will notify you as soon as we have knowledge of the cancellation and will refund you the full amount you have paid us in respect of the workshop. We will not be responsible for any additional expenses which you may have incurred in respect of the workshop, including travel, accommodation, or exchange rate losses.
  • BKS Iyengar Yogashala will issue a full refund if a workshop is cancelled.

RETURN AND EXCHANGE

Yoga Apparel, Props & Accessories

In the event of any issue with your order (duplicate transaction, transaction error, etc.). The refund will be debited to the consumer’s issuing bank. 

Goods sold are STRICTLY not refundable and not exchangeable UNLESS under the following circumstances for which the goods may be exchanged:

  • Manufacturing defects;
  • Items damaged during delivery; or
  • Non-conforming items delivered.

Terms for Exchange:

You have to inspect the Products upon receipt of the goods.

You have to send the duly Notice of Non-Conforming or Damaged Products within 3 days from the date of receipt of the Products to (bksihogashala@gmail.com), failing which the Products are deemed to be received in good order and conditions.

The Notice of Non-Conforming or Damaged Products should include the following particulars:

Particulars of Non-Conformity/Damage:

A picture clearly showing the Non-Conformity/Damage shall be accompanied by the Notice of Non-Conformity/Damage. Any such notice with incomplete information will not be entertained.

After your notification has been verified which normally takes 5 Business Day, the Company will notify you the mode of exchange i.e. either by Mail or exchange at the BKS Iyengar Yogashala Kuala Lumpur. 

Exchange By Mail

You have to pack and mail the items in original condition (not worn) with complete labels and tags at your costs to the following address:

You are advised to return the Products via a traceable courier. The replaced product will be send to you within 7 working days after the receipt of the Products to be exchanged.

  • Exchange have to be made within 7 days from the date of notice of exchange.
  • Should the Products to be exchanged is out of stock, the exchange period will be extended to 30 days from the date of notice of exchange; otherwise, or a substitute with the price not lower than the products you’ve purchased.
